Leupold VX-II 3-9x50mm Ringmounts

Does anybody recognize the scope ring and mount plate in this picture? I was searching for scope rings for the Leupold VX-II 3-9x50mm scope on my Browning BAR Safari .270 win. (semi-auto) and this came up. I believe the website I found this is a Swedish website. I currently have the standard high rings and standard base Leupold mounts on my rifle and the scope is too far forward. I found other rings like the Millett rings and Leupold rings but they only offer 5/8" more extension, I need more than that. If anybody can help identify or give me some sugesstions on what to use would be much appreciated.

Or those bases with these rings?

Your best bet might be to go with a picatinny rail type set up.
Something like this picture I found on the web.

What I don't know though, is if anyone makes them for the BAR. The picture above is obviously an A bolt and not a BAR. You make also be able to get away with a weaver style mount, but the picatinny system is more secure imo.0 -

Actually what you found is a Browning Safari bolt action of older manufacture, and I do believe it was made for Browning by SAKO. Those are SAKO bases and the matching rings. Go to Burrisoptics.com and use their fitting chart. My suggestion is to use their Signature series bases and rings. I am sure they do make extension rings too.

Burris extension rings only give 5/8".

1" rings will be needed.

I think I am going to just go with the Leupold STD High Extension Rings. It only offers 5/8" more but I think that it should be fine. I did find the rings that I wanted but they were way too expensive and it seems there weren't any rings for my rifle. The ring and mounts I am refering are by EAW. Thanks everybody for their suggestions and help. 0
