Iver Johnson M1 Carbine manufacturer date?

Ok I just got an M1 Carbine yesterday for $300, thing looks like it hasn't been fired at all.
I was wondering what the date of manufacture was? The serial AA62***, made in Jacksonville, Arkansas
Just wanting to know if it is one of the better or worse quality ones?

  iver johnson moved to jacksonville arkansas in 1983 and production of carbine got under way again fall of 1983. a number this high will most likely put this in the latter years 1988/1989. not much production took place in the 1990's and the doors were closed in 1993.
  
  i have some information that suggest iver johnson manufactured 89,000 plus m1 carbines between 1978 and 1993.
