Remington 700 rebarreling

I would like to, or have someone, rebarrel my Rem.700, . I can't seem to find any info about this subject. Can someone help?

    Unless you have the skills, tools and machinery, this option is not available. There is a ton of information about re-barreling rifles on the internet. There are also some good books and articles regarding the same subject. If you need suggestions, post again.

    For most folks, this is the better alternative. Let us know where you're located and we'll get you some suggestions as to which gunsmiths are reasonably close to you.

    My uncle makes rifle barrels in Flagstaff, AZ. I know of at least 7 700s he has made barrels for, Including one I had ownd. You do need the right skills, tools and machinery to do this. I have helped him make a few. No easy task. If you have any more questions, just ask. If I do not know I can give you hin #.
