Uberti High Wall
Has anyone shot a Uberti copy of the High Wall? Dose it shoot as good as the original? Are there any changes to it? Any info can help.

Hello The UBERTI company makes many reproductions of Classic firearms of past days They are made to have fun with and shoot BUT do they have the workmanship and fit and finish of the older guns IMHO NO WAY .Are there better modern guns then the old classics MAYBE and MAYBE NOT we have come a long way with CNC machines and steel alloys but you get what you pay for and the UBERTI fire-arms not the highest grade guns in either material or workmanship. 0 -
have a good friend with one in 45-70. looks nice, shoots good and he is very pleased with it. seems to be good value for the money. 0 -
One of the area BPCR shooters has one that does pretty well.
Its main difference from a real Winchester is that the hammer only comes to half cock when the action is closed. But then the Winder Musket and some of the late highwalls did that, too.0 -
I have one in .38/55, well made and shoots very well with proper bullets (no 335 gn. [V]). not quite and exact reproduction, the hammer doesn't come to full cock on closing the lever. 0 -
