Dating and possible info on old pocket knife
I have an old pocket knife, my great-grandfathers.
I will need a magnifying glass to read much beyond "Western Cutlery" on one side of one of the two blades, and the numbers 691 on the other. Handles seem like bone or antler. I think great-grandpop had it in his tacklebox; blades are stained and the longer one has what might have been electro-pencil engraving (poorly done) but it is illegible now if it was an electro-pencil engraving
My digital cam batteries are dead, I need to get some.
Any good websites for research that anyone can recommend in the meantime? Very solidly built pocketknife, blades and handles are as sturdy as the day it was made even though it's had long hard use

Got some batteries today. I believe the maker's mark reads:
"WESTERN CUTLERY CORP
made in USA"
On the reverse of the blade that is stamped on are the numbers "691"
blade at right angle is not broken at tip, that is the shape of the blade.
