Springfield M1A info please
Hey guys/ gals, I have a Springfield M1A SCOUT model..Shot less than 20 rounds thru it, walnut stock and MINT condition, Looks brand new in box..(AA9122) serial number 145XXX also has multiple magazines/clips. Original box and manual. My question is this, what is the date of manufacture and what would be a possible price for it? I am planning on putting it on the auction block but do not want to start ridiculous

No idea on date and I don't think, since the Scout is a relatively new model, that DOM will have an impact on price. I have a Scout, bought it new about 2 years ago and paid around $1,500.00. Springfield has been consistent increasing the cost of their guns by a few % each year, I'd say a like new (but used) Scout with a wood stock should be in the $1,600.00 range. 0 -

Starting price around $1500.
New USGI mags are currently about $22 each.
EDIT:
For SA guns all you have to do is call SA customer service and they will tell you in less then 5 min (and didnt cost a thing) what year and how it left their factory.0 -

I E-mailed. They want $25. Too much for a DOM. Thanks, anyways. Joe
EDIT Syntax Error-My Fault
They want $25 to research and mail a factory letter. As all I want is a DOM, and have gotten same further up this post, I shall refrain from spending the money. Sorry for the confusion. Best again, Joe0 -
