Yes. If you have a question, it would be nice to actually state it as such. With respect to your comments above, don't be "reluctant". If you don't like a gun, don't buy it. You have to trust your life to the thing and nobody's twisting your arm.
The Springfield XD subcompact is certainly a decent pistol, though many find this sort of chopped down double stack service pistol too "fat" for pocket carry (that includes similar guns like the subcompact Glock and SW99, etc).
To my way of thinking, if you're not carrying the gun in a pocket you're probably carrying on a belt, and if you are going to carry on a belt, you might as well just carry a larger pistol. (But that's your call based on your anatomy, pocket size, and personal preferences).
If you're going to enlarge the gun with mag extensions, you might as well just carry a larger pistol.
If you think having 12 shots (vs 7 or whatever) is going to make a difference, go for it. Personally, I doubt it. 7 shots of 9mm luger or .40SW are PLENTY. Statisically 90% of defensive civilian shooting incidents are "solved" with ONE shot fired, or less. If you still have a problem after firing 7 shots, its pretty unlikely that 7 more will fix it.
Aftermarket slip on grip. . .if you like one go for it. If not, skip it. That's your call. This is a question of personal preference, and not exactly a big investment in money or time to install one.
On lasers. . .I'm not that fond of these. Many don't hold a "zero" well, they can be hard to see in bright light, its another gizmo to worry about turning on or finding batteries for, and adding one to the rail under your gun can make finding a suitable concealment holster difficult. But again, your call. If you want a laser, and think you can carry a concealed gun with one attached, go for it.
actually, 'any other ideas, lets hear em...' was the question as it were and just wanted to hear from other knowledgeable individuals that can be professional as well, nothing more, nothing less.

Just so you know, you have a good choice for your first polymer pistol in the XD.
For a Laser sight, you might want to look at the Lasermax sights. They replace the guide rod and fit internally...no need for a special holster, or a pouch to carry your lite/laser sight in. they are protected by the guns frame, so you don't have to worry about taking a tumble and knocking it off your weapon. I have them installed in my Glock 20, and 29 in 10MM, and 19 in 9mmx19. They have tiny set screws to zero them, and will usually hold zero well enough to hold your shots on a 9" plate at 40 yards.

are you serious, you guys harrass me because you don't like me because of my differing opinions, my political beliefs and because i am a muslim, admit it and so everything that i say now gets trashed, including the harrassing emails from yourself and others and now you want to help and be nice, i am confused, whats the deal here.

Be careful with the aluminum frame and steel/stainless steel slide. I know Kimber had a problem with reliability, on their 1911 style auto's with that. I am not sure that Springfield would have anymore to offer in that line. Run a post and see if the EMP has had any issues.
I have always aimed to help you, but have not always posted to your liking, and it has caused irritation. I have nothing against you being a Muslim, if you can handle me being a Christian. Auto i'd also advise a lasermax brand product, but not the one TSR has spoken of, it is called the uni-laser and attaches to the frames picatinny rail..
