Remington Model 11 12 guage
I have a Remington model 11 with the serial #362582 and was wondering what year it was made? Also, what would it be worth in very good condition. It does have a full/modified choke selector that I assume was added on. Thanks in advance!...........

Hello, recently acquired a model 11, with a browning patent of oct. 9, 1900. Pretty good shape except needs to be blued and butt stock has crack. Any recolection on value, also had severl different dates of the browning patent. serial #342958. Would like to know value for insurance purposes. Thanks, 0 -
Need pics of the chokes. About $250.00 0 -
First you will need to know if the current barrel on your 11 is the original barrel. You need to look at the barrel lug (the ring that goes around the magazine tube) to see if the number on it matches the number on the receiver. If it matches, it can be dated.
To determine the DOM (date of manufacture) you will need the "Date Code" from the left side of the barrel. It is located just ahead of the receiver. Either post the date code or look here. http://www.remingtonsociety.com/questions/BLACKPOWDERX.htm
As far as value goes, posting clear, well lit pics would help. We would also need to know what "Grade" Model 11 you have. Depending upon the engraving, or lack thereof, they were graded as 11A, B, D, E, and F. There was also an 11R which was the riot version, and a three shot "Sportsman" variant also. This last is most commonly known as "The Remington Sportsman" but they are a Model 11 none the less.
Again, pics would help to determine both grade and condition.0 -
Not all barrels had the serial numbers on them 0
