Price check, 1919a4
Been looking at a 1919A4, original 30-06 caliber.
New side plates and semi-auto configuration.
Overall, rifle looks to be in very good shape, little fired since converted from full auto.
Comes with an M2 tripod, and 800 linked rounds; 400 ball and 400 AP, new brass with pulled components. Couple hundred extra links.
Asking $ 2,300.00.
Figuring tripod is worth $ 500.00?
Ammo worth approximately $ 400.00,
leaves $ 1,400.00 for the rifle - a little high, but it seems there are not that many 'factory' 30-06's around lately.
Do I pull the trigger?

Depends on who built it. The prices were running from just over $1k for the cheep ones and around $2k for the nicer ones (gun only).
If I was in the market for it I would buy. Again depending on the builder $2k might be a better price.0 -
I believe that Ohio Ordnance made the best one.
