Is there any way to pull up closed auctions for items to see
what the general prices are? The open auctions often don't have enough
items & you can't tell what the final price will be.

I believe you have to register on the auction, to see the actual prices realized on the guns that have sold.

Rufe is correct you have to register on the auction side to look at closed auctions. If I remember right I tried using this ID and it wouldn't let me so I had to find my original password to look at them.

Once signed in, go to smart search then click on completed auctions from the list on the left. Then enter your search perameters.

You just have to log into the auction site, then adjust the search parameters to check "completed auctions".

Please note that the ID and password you use to log into the auction site *ARE NOT* necessarily the same as the one(s) you use to log into the Message forums, like this "Ask the Experts" board.

For example, on this board I'm "Beantownshootah", but I use a totally different and unrelated screen name when bidding on guns.

Also note, that personally I find it most helpful not to look at "completed auctions", but rather "ended in last 90 days" and then prioritize the search by "highest number of bids". That puts the REAL auctions (where there were multiple actual bidders) right up front, and tends to give what I believe to be the most accurate true market value of a given gun.
