Colt & S&W 1917
Was back home last week and picked up a Colt New Servie 1917 civilan in 45 Colt ser.# 147668 has MF on the bottom of the grip frame and 11 on the frame below the ser#.
Also found a S&W U.S Army in 45acp ser#12825. Can someone give me some info on the colt marking's and manuf.date of both.

The Colt was a very late production gun, in Dec. 1918.
The S & W was earlier, Jan. 1918.
Need quality close-up photos of the Colt for identification purposes.0
