PA-63 FEG Hungary 9x18 mm

I have two of these pistols and each is marked differently.

Pistol 1 serial number HC 1912 has Hungary stamped on the right hand frame with C.A.I. Georgia VT with FEG 9mm MAK. PA-63 on the grip right behind the trigger. It also has the before mentioned serial number on the inside of the grip on below the trigger.

Pistol 2 serial number L 022000 right side of the frame the same place as pistol 1 but not Hungary. On the right side of the slide it is marked KBI-HBG, PA and right below FEG Hungary.

Grips, sights and magazine are identical. Any important difference I should know about?

    The only basic difference is that two different U.S. importer/distributors brought in the pistols. The KBI might be a earlier import?

    Agree with Rufe.

    Per the 1968 Gun control law, imports of firearms made outside the USA have to be stamped with the name of the importer on the receiver. . .but there is no absolutely standardized location.

    So Century Arms from Virginia may stamp the gun in a different place than KBI from Harrisburg PA.

    Same gun, different stamp.

    As to any OTHER differences between the two guns, probably not.
