1878 Sharps value

Same as above but its a Bridgeport 78 Borchardt DELUXE pistol gripped model. Letter with Doc as a Mid Range, #1, 30 inch round barrel, 40-70-330 SS caliber, shipped to William Read and Sons in 1879. With only 215 #1 mid range rifles made according to Sellers, how do I value this high condition with lots of blue, case, checked pistol grip, and wood panels? It has a special order 26 inch barrel. Gold front flip and mid range vernier tang sights. I've seen lesser models for around 10K, what's the value curve on this. Screws never touched with perfect wood to metal fit. 90% barrel blue, beautiful wood (95%), and 10% case, but still great receiver with wood panels. Thoughts on value?

    Yes, there is, and lots of it. As soon as you get me away from the the 1870 - 1920 period of American long arms manufacturer's, I know next to nothing outside of Winchester or Browning.

    So, who is REALLY in the know on value of this 78? I figured 10-12K? But, I have been told that may not be enough? Does anyone REALLY know? If it was WRACO I could nail it pretty good, but there aren't many Deluxe Sharps with condition getting sold for me to hear about.

    Contact Amoskeag auctions... they sold a batch of high-end Sharps rifles last year (I do not remember exactly which auction it was).
