Anyone read this article?

I read this yesterday in the Oregonian about how US Global Arms sales are up 10.4 Billion from 2007 in 2008... The US is responsible for 68% of all arms sales globally...

No wonder we can't buy any powder or primers - they have sold it all!!!

  Thats funny, the US is responsible for 68% of all arms sales yet we dont manufacture any AK 47's here and that is probably the most prolific gun around.

  You're thinking too small. If you read the article, it's concentrating on the large armaments and systems sales not small arms and ammunition.
  
  We're talking about Air Defense Systems like jets, helicopters and missiles including but not limited to the parts and support equipment as well. This often includes support personnel and their contracts for training.
