I have seen ring bases that extended rearward to move the scope back but I believe these were custom built. I suspect it would be more economical and practical if not painless to replace the scope with one with a very long eye relief. Leupolds offer among the best long eye relief, some in the 3.5" range.

    jameskat,

    Welcome to the Gunbroker Forums!

All of the major scope base/ring manufacturers make extension type bases or base/ring combinations.

Check the various websites to see what they offer.

    Leupold, Burris, Weaver, etc.

    Best.

Brownells carries what you need. (800)741-0015 and ask for tech help and they will get you what you need. Personally I'd expect you need the weaver steel bases with the extra long front base and the high offset 4x4 rings. That combination should let you move the scope about a inch or more to the rear. Good luck with it.....
