HI.
I have a model 4 savage that the barrel is threaded for a silencer just trying to find out if this was factory or aftermarket. This is a pre war model with a cap that screws on to protect the threads.Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely factory. back in THE GOOD OLD DAYS many factories offered threaded rifle 0
