  S&W bought two Turkish shotgun plants, and got back into the shotgun business. These are not contract guns like they did with Howa 20+ years ago. S&W owns, operates, and supervises production. The gun itself is a Beretta 300 series clone, and comes with an extra gas piston for shooting heavy 3.5" loads. Good solid gun for the money.
