Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 Scope
I was wondering if the Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 scopes are ok to use on up to a .308 caliber weapon regarding shock?
Are shotgun/muzzleloader type scopes ok on lighter caliber rifles?
Where would I find one of the Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 scopes?
Thanks for your help,
Pete

Yes, yes, and Walmart carries 'em.
Strangely, one of the things that can kill a good scope quick, even one meant for the biggest magnums, is to use it on a spring or piston powered air rifle. The vibrations work differently, and the air gun can quickly vibrate the reticle loose...0 -
I use the Nikon ProStaff 2 to 7X shotgun scope on my 416, 458 and all sorts of rifles where I want long eye relief. I have a few Leupolds in the same style, Nikon works fine by comparison. A 308 will be no problem. Added plus is that the parallax is set for 75 yds which at least for me and the bigger calibers is better than the usual 100 yds.
Midway, Cabela, Grafs has them. Figure $139.00 is an about right price.0
