peep sight for Ruger 77/44

  NEGC probably has one that attaches directly using a Ruger type base. I have a 77/44 at home, pretty sure the gold bead front sight is a dovetail, you could go all the way and use a short globe type front sight. Peep rear and globe front (with different inserts) would be perfect on the little 44.

  Or you could add a low power shotgun scope - say, 1.5-4x ...

  DCS shooters, soes the williams sight require a gunsmith? I was hoping for a do it your self project.
  
  I am sure the scope recommendation is a good one, but I really prefer a peep sight on a woods gun.
