Typically OEM products are made to the Buyer's specs and it is the specs to be concerned with not the manufacturer. So with OEM the manufacturer can change without any notice on the whim of international finance and the power of the dollar. Pineridge is their bottom of their in house line of scopes and the design specs will represent this. The good thing about Cabela's is that they stand behind their products and if your scope ever has a problem they should honor it. Just be sure you understand the warranty on it.

Diamond reticles are generally used on shotguns, and are harder to sight in precisely on rifles.

The warranty is of little consequence when a scope fails while you are on a $3000.00-5000.00 guided hunt. Even Simmons and Tasco offer a lifetime replacement warranty.

Bottom line is, for a serious hunting rifle that will be used in ALL climates, including ADVERSE and CHANGING weather conditions, stick with a good trusted name brand like Nikon, Burris, or Leupold at the minimum. The optical resolution is better also(the higher the $$, the better the resolution), and you will have less parallax.

All scopes have parallex problems unless the objective lense is adjustable.
