Got an odd duck yesterday- M.95M

Picked up an M95M Straight pull Mannlicher yesterday. This is the one that was re-worked to use standard 8X57 Mauser ammo.

One issue, the conversion had an internal enbloc clip built into it. Mine is missing this. These are a little different than the removable enblocs used in the 8X56R more commonly encountered. I'm told they are fairly rare, expensive, and hard to find, but that some folks had modified the standard M95 clip to work.

I've posted this on a few other forums more specific to this type of gun, but I never overlook gunbroker.

Anyone ever make one of these as indicated? Or have a source on a repro/original?

    I have no idea where to find a modified 8x57 clip, and I'd imagine finding one not already associated with a rifle is going to be real hard.

    After the German occupation of Austria in World War II, M95s were converted to fire the standard 8x57 German service cartridge. The receiver rings of these conversions are marked Steyr M.95/24. The additional "/24" is hand stamped so it's obvious. The conversion is rather interesting and was apparently used extensively by the Bulgarians.

    The in-line magazine system is retained with a built-in filler clip that keeps the rimless rounds in a straight column. The bottom of the magazine box is closed. Clip slots are milled into the receiver to accept Mauser stripper clips, and Mauser sights are added. A similar 8x57 conversion used by Yugoslavia is marked "M95M."

    If you can find a good image of a modified clip (eg from someone that has one), maybe that might help you modify one for yourself, rather than trying to re-invent the wheel.
