Hi. I have a question for Forgemonkey regarding his response to a question about a 1912 luger. You made reference to a person in Albuqerque that knows a lot about lugers can you give contact information? Thank You.

What look like markings on the bottom of the barrel puzzle me? Don't recall seeing anything like that before?

I can't see the barrel markings well enough to be ABSOLUTELY certain, but since the magazine has been restamped to match, I would give a nay.
It's one thing if the seller were upfront, but he doesn't even mention it.

Seller says the barrel stamping is "Interarms". Can't address the magazine observation, though.

Too much money for an import stamped S/42. And the bluing looks a little 'off' compared to mine. Pic is in my profile. See for yourself. Best, Joe

Another strike against the deal is the lack of photos of the top of chamber and toggle. Since photos were taken of the other parts, the lack of the two most identifiable features being photographed is suspect?

    thanks guys!
I don't know enough about lugers to see specific problems, but this one just didn't look right to me.

The seller does not specify a return or inspection policy; I would not buy a gun sight unseen unless the seller agreed to a 3 day inspection and full refund (less shipping) if returned in same condition received. This may just be an oversight when he listed the gun; I would make sure before I made a bid.
