colt 10mm distinction

Just curious what the difference between a colt delta gold cup elite and a colt gold cup ten is. Which one was earlier production?

  The Colt Gold Cup was not a twin...it was made in 45 ACP. Unless a Colt 1911 says "Delta" on it someplace, it was not made as a 10 MM.
  
  If I am not mistaken, the 45 has an unsupported chamber, and the HOT 10 MM has a supported chamber.
