model 36 nickel walnut grips value??
a model 36 nickel plated "good condition" some scratches, walnut grips with diamond pattern. It has blue box with metal border braids which says 1955 in it.No paper J frame

Now, if you want us to "tighten up" the value of your gun, we'll need to know just exactly what the scraches look like. Photos a must.
Photos of the markings on the gun, to include the butt bottom (SerNo), and the stampings visible inside the frame when you open the cylinder, as well as photos of the writing on the box. Best, Joe

One that I did keep is a model 64(no dash) stainless snubby with diamond check walnut.
It feels just right in my hand. Didn't even like it as much when i slipped a Pachmayr on it.
It is the better of the 2 for me.0 -
It was worth exactly $250 since that is what a willing buyer paid a willing seller for it and both came away happy.
