1892 button mag.trying again
hope this works better this time was first time trying to post pics here. what it seems i have is a 1892 serial #2745 has rd. barrel,button magazine. as the reply to my 1st post it seems it has been rebarreled .Just my luck. would cody have records if it was factory done? New to 92's still learning. thanks kevin and hope the pics work this time

Yep, with that tang marking you do have a rebarreled early Model 1892. None of the pictures show the top of the receiver or barrel; since it was rebarreled are there proofmarks on them?

thanks old-colts how did you get the pics to post? and no other proof marks on the top. No p with the circle.nothing.haven't had the forearm off to look on the bottom.once again thanks i'll figure the pic posting i hope. by the way not hijacking my own post but get a colt lighting slide action at same auction serial #9313,32 cal. shoots nice,checkering on forearm about gone but otherwise very nice in my mind. thanks kevin 0
