Remington Model 17 age and worth?

I was looking for an Ithaca 37 20ga. when I came apon a very nice Remington 17 with 28" bbl and mod choke. It followed me home and will probably last longer than I will need it. Serial number is BO 11420 on reciever, same number but no letters on the barrel. Can anyone tell me what year it was manufactured and an approximate worth. Thanks, Dan [?]
