Help ID and sell vintage airgun
I have a vintage Gem airgun. 177. #70062. Comes with 5 darts.
Question: what are the sales laws for this? Is it FFL exempt? How can I tell if it is pre-1899?

There are no Federal laws governing the sale or possession of this gun. Thusly, the date of manufacturer, except as an academic exercise, is irrelevant.
There may be some state or local laws restricting the ownership or use of air guns, but those are places where no one with good sense would want to live.0 -

In other words, anyone in anyplace that can own a Daisy Red Ryder can own this gun. 0 -
A red ryder? Oh man; someone could shoot their eye out with one of those things. 0
