LC Smith double barrel shot gun
I also have this LC Smith? I dont know much about it if you could tell me the story I would love it im sure. Here a link to the pics...it was my dads gun as far as I remember.on the barrel armor steel/hunter arms co.makers fulton ny/left side LC Smith...i dont see any other markings?

I used to hunt with one just like it until the stock broke. I gave it away here on GB a couple years ago. That is a field grade gun that Im sure has killed a few squirrel. If only they could talk. 0 -
Looks like an "R" frame extractor gun of pre-'13 manufacture. Look on the watertable for the serial number and grade, and I'll look up the date. 0 -
The Hunter Arms company has quite a history. Hunter acquired the rights to market the LC Smith design somewhere around the turn of the the last century. All of the LC Smith models were side lock designs. They made a variety of models from field grade to high grade guns. I don't know if it is a result of the side lock design but it's fairly common to see these with cracked stocks. Hunter Arms made very functional side by side boxlock model shotguns as well. The "Fulton" is one model that comes to mind. Good basic dependable shotguns well designed for the intended purpose. 0
