    The answer is no.

    Soft lead pellets won't hurt a hard steel barrel.

    They may not pattern particularly well, they may not cycle your gun's action (if you're using them in a semi-automatic), and they generally aren't effective past a few yards distance.

    But they won't damage your gun.
