Weaver 330/Spot-Shot R.A. Litschert

I bought a Winchester 75 today with a Weaver 330 scope that has the screw in Spot-Shot/R.A. Litschert. I was curious as to the value of the scope and accessory. Right now the Spot-Shot isn't on the scope. Do I have to do anything special to put it on, or does it just screw on as is? I'm assuming it ads magnification power but do they work well?

  IMO the Weaver 330 is about the worst scope ever made, the spotshot just makes things worse. Both are collectible I sold a 330 with a SS attachment for a good price. My advice is sell them both and buy a good scope.

  The Weaver 330 with click adjustments were used on 03A4 sniper rifles so they have collecror interest.

  If you can find the right collector the scope could bring $125. The Litschert 8x about $100.

  You might get a feel for their current value there.
