Professional Gunsmith Question
I'm sure we have a couple here and I mean those who make their living repairing firearms.
What would you say is the greatest part of your business? Is it cleaning guns? I think you are certainly more qualified than to do just this but I would guess you get a lot of customers who have never done an adequate job and bring in their non-functioning firearms for you to fix.
Also what is an average for a yearly salary for a licensed gunsmith?
We are soon to be relocating to either Maine or Alaska and continuing to build houses especially in the winter time is not that appealing to me in either place. I have always loved guns and thought this might be a good time to go to school and try something else as well since both area's are known for people traveling to hunt I thought it might be a good place to offer rifle repair and selling rifles and accessories? may be just a pipe dream but I have been considering.
