N R Davis Double Barrel Hammer
The wood is worn but does not have cuts. The serial no is 18 on the three pieces. Any idea of what it can be sold for?

$50 to $150 depending upon condition as a wall hanger. It was never a high quality shotgun, but rather a utility gun. It is old, but neither rare nor in demand. There are millions out there. 0 -
He Dog got it almost right. There were two companies (well one with two different names) that used the name N.R. Davis. N.R. Davis Arms Co from 1854 to 1983 and N.R. Davis & Sons Company from from 1883 to 1917. They finished up as the Davis-Warner Arms Corporation 1917 to 1930. Yes they made well made utility grade shotguns but remember these guns were designed fore black powder and later low pressure smokeless powder ammunition. They were not designed for modern high pressure smokeless powder shells and sorry to say they were made in the thousands, not millions. 0
