Can anyone ID this peep sight
I saw one of these several months ago mounted on a Win 94. There is nothing, but "Pat Pending" stamped on it. It is windage adjustable by rotating the inner ring/reticle. The inner ring is not concentric. The inner reticle is held in place by 3 steel stringers.
Does anyone know who made this and what rifle it was for?

No, the center piece is one unit and is held in place by the top clamp. There is an indexing mark, so that you can line up the graduations as you rotate it.0 -

I have not seen anything like it... definitely not a homemade sight, but not something that was a high production item.0 -
I've seen those before but cannot remember what rifle. It was a .22 rifle used prior to and during WWII to teach military marksmanship. It had several different inserts you could put into the sight, changing the hole size. I want to say H&R or a company like that. 0 -

The NFM said that they were all stumped. I guess it's fairly rare then.0
