Would like to know manufacture date & model (if able to use modern ammo or Black Powder)

.32 cal. hammerless, w/Nickle finish (barrel & 5 cylinders in excellent condition), black grips with owl heads, also excellent condition. Top break, double post and has a coil spring. On top of barrel: Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works, Fitchburg Mass. U.S.A. There appears to be a star before Iver, after Works, and before and after Fitchburg Mass. USA. The serial number on the trigger guard: 65035, under left grip is B 65035. On butt of gun: (2 lines) PAT. NOV 17, 08. and PAT`S PENDING.

as long as this revolver is in shootable condition you should not have any problems with modern smokeless ammo.

This little gun is in very good shape. I will try putting a few .32 S&W rounds through it tomorrow....
