Sako Barrels, Forester to A2?

Hoped to run this question by folks at the Sako Forum but am having trouble with access.
Currently have a new Forester barrel .243 Bofors Steel, on the auction side. Prospective buyer wants to know if it will fit on an A2 receiver.
Anyone know for sure?

  Hello some of the early Sako rifles had BUTTRESS threads Not V thread and were also of a different PITCH
