Mounting a acope on a HOWA/Legacy model 1500

I recently purchased a HOWA/Legacy, model 1500 with a 24" heavy Barrel.
I also purchased a Bushnell trophy 3-9x40 scope (model 73-3948)
My dilema is which scope rings and which mount to purchase.
Can anyone help??

    Hello, and welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker. For ease of operation, and mounting, I would use Burris Tactical base #410600, and their Signature Series Zee Ring #420520 for black gloss finish, or 420521 for matte finnish.

    +1. You might also want to consider the one piece ring/mount combo from Dednutz ...

    Any two piece bases that fit the Rem 700 will fit your Howa! I would go with Leupold two piece bases and Leupold medium height rings.

    I would second Burris bases and Signature rings. especially if you do not lap your rings, Signatures are the answer.

    hello everyone. I opted to go with the Burris 410600 and the 420521 as the scope is a matte finish scope.

    Hello everyone, i thought i would post a few pics of the finished product. I finally went witht the Burris 420561 signature double dovetail matter rings, and the Burris 410593 double dove tail mounts.
    works like a charm, the gun is now a tack driver.
