Feeding LRN ammo into a Marlin 1894C

    LRN should be ok as are semi-wadcutter style bullets. you may even want to try the new hornady .357 with the soft polymer tip that is safe in a tube magazine, but will give you a little more in the accuracy & distance dept.

    That rifle should cycle those LRN's like butter. However, be aware that if you do not have the 1894 Cowboy rifle, and ballard style rifling, make sure you are using HARD cast bullets, or jacketed bullets. Those rifles that don,t have the ballard style rifling, have the micro groove rifling, and soft lead will foul the rifling badly.

    I shoot a hard cast LRN or SWC in mine all the time.
