It's hard to make out the serial number, but it looks like a W W II era "P" suffix pistol.

Here is a photo of a late, (1945?) production PP showing the type of grips the PP suffix war time pistols would normally have been equipped with.

VirgilCaine...great looking aftermarket grips and not original to the gun. But greatlooking, nonetheless! What about the holster? Have you checked it for marks? Good shooting!
