I have a revolver but am not able to ID it. One person I have asked thinks it might be a Sperlingbur 50cal maybe 1858. It only has a single ships anchor stamp on the top of the frame and no other markings. This revolver was given to the owner now in his 70's by his grandfather. Can someone tell me how I might be able to find out more about this?
