What is it worth VSSF/Sendero 308

Hi, Not sure what they call it a VSSF or a Sendero stainless fluted. Anyway very good to excellent condition in 308. I looked on the auction and I only found one that sold and that brought $950. However I know that means nothing without others to compare it to in price.

  That would be a VSSF, as the Sendero SFII are all long action calibers, up to , and including the 300 RUM.
  
  That is about the going price for a new one...retail. I would think that a good used one should go for around $600.00-700.00.

  I've bought a group of Remington 700s in whatever the flavor of the day is - VLS, VSF, VSSF Super duper ......
  
  I think any of the VLS used are OK at about $600.00, when you look at their HS stocked target rifles such as the Sendero a great price is in the $700.00 area. I'm still kicking myself for not getting a used Sendero for $700.00 a few years back. But I'd expect to pay $800.00 or so for used, high 9s for new - maybe more if you're not careful.
  
  BTW, if you can find an older PPS in 7 or 300 they're usually a good deal. Matte black finish, black HS target stock - not as fancy as the Sendero or the stainless fluted barrels but every bit as accurate. Pretty sure they make it in 308 also, have seen them in the $600.00 range often.
