I am looking for a shell extractor for the above mentioned revolver. It is not the stainless version, just the blued one. Does anyone know of a different revolver I can steal the shell extractor off of to replace mine with if no one has an extra?

    Please email me at nsauceman@yahoo.com

    Thanks so much

Sounds about right. I just saw one at the Reno Gun show - priced at $300.00 and it was stainless, excellent shape. I always notice them because I had one years ago and really liked it.

I sold the last one I owned for $500 at a Washington State Gun Show.
    The buyer seemed very happy.

$300-450 range. However, if you have a Silhouette model..."RARE"...up to $600 or so. They were made in 1982...the first 1/2" of the barrel is free-bored. They came with two sets of grips...wood and Pachmyr black rubber. These are FINE GUNS...and anything made from 1980-1984 is especially well made. The Silhouette was made in 1982. The cylinders are recessed...and except for some of the very early models...1973-1975 vintage...the Dragoon was made in Midland, VA from 1976 on. Many think the Dragoon was an imported gun...NOT TRUE from 1976 until production ceased in 1984.

They book lower than the Ruger SBH but they seem to sell for about the same. A lot of people like them with the fluted cylinder and the large grip frame.
