Need quality photos, for valuation purposes. It's one of the early manufactured versions of the Argentine pistol more commonly known to American collectors as the Ballester Molina, probably dates late 30's early 40's time frame.

The "HAFDASA" (eg "Hispano Argentina Fabrica de Automoviles Sociedad Anonima") is more commonly known as a Ballester-Molina. If you do a "Google" search for that term, you'll come up with all sorts of information.

Its an Argentinian made copy of the Colt 1911 pistol, without grip safety. Only the barrel and magazine will interchange with the standard Colt gun, but the operation is similar.

As you might deduce from the acronym above, the company that made it was originally in the automobile business, but it did make many Argentinian small arms.

Lots of these pistols were made for the Argentinian domestic market.

Like many guns, they eventually ended up on the surplus market (of which the domestic USA is the biggest buyer). So there are a lot of them floating around within the USA.

Value is dependent on condition, obviously. Some of these are pretty beat up, and since these used to be pretty cheap, lots of them were used as bases for modification or training pieces by home-gunsmiths, etc.

As a rough guide, you can figure $350-450 for one in very-good to excellent condition.
