Marble's Game Getter Ammo

The Marble's stampings say the smoothbore barrel uses 2" .410ga. Not being a scattergun fan I had to look for this ammo. All I see are 3" and 2 1/2" shells. Was there a 2" made, and if so, where should I look for them on the net? Thanks for any help. Shansei45, FL

    They make an aluminum case 410 2" in Belgum (cute little thing), but not sure where you could find them here in the States.
    IIRC you could use a 44spl/44Mag SHOT load (it will be a little sloppy) or a 45 Colt SHOT load (do NOT attempt to fire a bulleted cartridge, of any type, in that barrel

    Thanks for the info, Tailgunner1954. Some ammo maker in the past must have made them. Perhaps I could find some at one of the cartridge dealers' websites. I don't fire my collectibles, but like to have boxes of the original ammo to display/photograph with the gun. Thanks again.

    I got mine form a collector/dealer in Belgum (he was at a show in St. Louis).
    Perhaps one of the US collector/dealers may be able to help you out. One that I know of that sells on the web is Dave at www.ammo-one.com but there are others too (just don't have their URL stuck in my head at the moment)

    one of the boxes I have for my collection is marked winchester .44X.L.SHOT,Adapted to X L stevens and other shotguns.these have been going for 8.00 a shell at the shows I go to,I have 3 color variations.tks hedge[:D]

    Shansei- the 2" 410 is an old, obsolete shell- it was replaced with the 2.5 inch. You will not find them except as collector's items- that is, your local gun shop will not have them sitting on the shelf as new production. I have my grandad's top break 410- a H&R- in 2 inch 410. It is retired to a place of honor.

    I knew it was obsolete, I just would like to have a vintage box to go with my gun.

    I saw a box of English made 2" .410's siting next to a tiny Belgum made .410 double at the New Berlin Ill gun show last weekend. Looked like current production
