.32 Winchester special reloading info

I have an old wichester .32-165 bullet mould and was wondering if I could use this for casting to reload the .32 Winchester special. My guess is that it was for the .32-40 by the age or era that it was made.
Any info would help. (and yes, the mould is in great shape)

    The quick answer is Yes, you can use it for the 32 Winchester Special. That said, if you intend to load it for the 32 W.S., make sure that you keep the velocity below 1800 fps, preferably in the 1600 fps range.

    You are correct in that the 32-165 was intended for the 32-40.
