FWF Stainless Victor value

I have a 5 1/2" High Standard "Victor II" clone made by Fort Worth Firearms. (Pastucek Industries)
In LN condition with 3 mags. Can't find the box or docs at present.
Fit, finish and function seem as good or better than anything HS produced.

Purchased in 1993-1995.
Does anyone have any idea of the value.

    Welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.

    I looked over to the current auctions on the auction side, and there are no others over there like it. However there are some original High Standard Victors on there that are going up to $700.00 for the starting bid price.

    probably about 1/2 what an original would bring. I have one, and while servicable it is no were near the quality of an original H.S.

    In general, the Pastucek-made Hi-Standard clones (including older Mitchell arms and Forth Worth) are NOT as good as the originals.

    They look pretty, but the clones had QC issues, and lots of them had reliability problems.

    While some of the clones are good, and in fact, some very good, enough of them are not such that these aren't particularly desirable guns, and the Hi-Standard collectors will turn their noses down on them.

    I'd estimate a Victor clone in excellent condition at $400-450.

    Edit: Compare to an actual Hi-Standard Victor at $700-$750.

    FWIW, the originals are likely to appreciate with time far more than the clones.

    +1 on Mike W and Beantown they have given you the same advice I would . value of clones never keep up with the original.

    Thanks all for the responses.
    Since this looks better AND shoots better than
    any HS Victor I have tried I guess I'll keep it.
    I will admit the barrel that came with the gun
    would not shoot better than a half inch at 25 yards.
    They asked me to send some ammo along with the barrel, which I did, and they sent back a barrel that shot a .15" 5 round group at 25 yards with the Federal target ammo I sent.
    Time to buy some new match ammo and see what it can do.

    Thanks for the info! [Ref: Item in blue]. As you said, best to keep it. No resale value for a one-off firearm, as the buyers will be regarding it as "off the assembly line" in quality, which yours is not. Best, Joe
