Custom Made Recoil Pads
Does anyone make custom pads for a custom made stock?

Take some dimensions ... some of the pre-fit might work otherwise try the grind to fit ones ...

Haven't heard anything on custom pads. A leather covered pad is an option though. 0 -

Most if not all recoil pads are 'grind to fit' for custom installations. There are also pre-fit pads made for factory size buttstocks.
Brownells and Midway both have a good selection of recoil pads that can adjusted by grinding and sanding to fit your stock. If you can't find one you like, contact the manufacturers directly to see if they have something that the major suppliers don't carry.
Directions for fitting recoil pads can be found on both the Brownells and Midway sites complete with videos. This is usually one of the very first projects that gun lovers attempt to tackle on their own.

David Trevallien (sp?) in Southern Maine used to work for one of the major British firms making double rifles before moving to the states. Did exceptional work including custom recoil pads but I'm not sure if he's retired or still working. Maybe someone else knows? 0
