Sako A2 22-250

I own a Sako A2 22-250 that has a sad history. During my messy divorce the evil one had her boyfriend remove the a-bolt. I unfortunately have to sell some of my guns because of an unexpected surgery, loss of my job and no insurance. The Sako is in GREAT shape but I do noy know how much to ask for it without the a-bolt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm sorry to hear about your problems with your ex and your health. Unfortunately, the value of the Sako A2 is significantly reduced without a properly fitted and headspaced bolt. Folks who might be interested are those that own an A2 already that would be able to switch the bolts from one rifle to another or share the bolt between two rifles. Not common but certainly doable.

  Any chance of working a deal with the ex? Assuming she still has access to the bolt, it probably has no value to her.I'd offer her $50.00 and be happy if she thought she was getting her pound of flesh by selling it to you for $100.00
