ever see 4289 0n 42 box label???

I am looking at a model 42 box label with catalog number 4289 in upper right corner
1955 manufacture of receiver..."special deluxe" stamped over printed info...have not seen this ...please advise....thanks..lee

  Others may understand this, but you might get better response with more info:
  Model 42??? Winchester Shotgun??? Or??? Or???

  Post all of the photos you have and let these guys take a look at it, you will get better responses than if you just piece the information out. Its a very nice deluxe grade 42 that may or may not be ther real deal.
