remington 257 Roberts

Is Remington making the 257 Roberts this year in their Limited Edition. I cut my teeth on centerfile rifles on my dad's 722 in 257 Roberts. Still holds a soft spot in my heart.

Many times one of my brother's and I would go out with a 250 Savage and a 257R. He liked the lever action better and was older, I just wanted to go hunting.

I might "pull the trigger on one of these".

  Don't know, but I have and shoot a Ruger 257 in a Model 77. Great gun.

  Have a Hawkeye .257, wonderfully accurate and, IMHO, one of the finest bolt actions Ruger has come out with

  yes they are making it. was taking orders earlier this yr may be to late for one straight from the factory check with your dealer soon. kevin

  Ya know, I never knew that about Remington...still making my favorite caliber??
  
  Do they make it in long action? Or is it still stuck in short action where you can't get all that you can from the cartridge. If it's a short action I'll stick to my custom Mausers.
