skeet gun

New here at gun brokers. Love the site. I use to do a lot of sport shooting but haven't in a long time, 10 years or so. Look forward to getting back into it again. I have a beat to crap Mossberg 500 that is pretty much spent.

In your opinion what do you feel is the best light weight skeet gun available?

    I have a Remington 870 with skeet barrel. Have had it since the mid 1960's and in my opinion it is a great gun for skeet and trap. Shot thousands of rounds throu it and it is still as good as new.

    The Beretta 391 series is a good choice. It is what I used before I purchased an O/U. Still use it from time to time.

    LOL I actually considered this. It wasn't that big of a deal but as I get older it comes into play.

    Browning Citori, with interchangable choke tubes.
    Not a Semi, but you (or your kids) won't wear it out, and the "maintenance" consists of swabbing out the barrels once in a while (they are also a great field gun)

    While I concur on the O/U, the top of the food chain in semi's for all clays games are Beretta 390/391, Browning Gold, Winchester Super X. You must like to clean guns and get bending exercise to use one.

    I always hear about benelli's, but have seen very few on the ranges.
